seat belt buckle guard

industrial design

Hurphy Durphy Pty Ltd. Addressing the key issue of young children inadvertently disengaging a seat belt securing a booster seat in the rear of a passenger vehicle.

The device was developed and tested in accordance with
Australian and New Zealand standards, its primary objective to prevent accidental release of the main buckle securing a baby capsule or booster seat. This is achieved by applying the device over the buckle and engaging the tongue through the devices buckle slot. Release is achieved by a unique hook and loop flap that can be competently removed with most dexterous hands gaining access to the release button. Constructed from durable neoprene and polypropylene.
